article9In the modern Muslim world positions are still very strong of those who is categorically against not only participations of the Moslem woman in life of a community, but also against even the higher education by women. Fathers and the husbands who follows such point of view, doom the daughters and wives to a lifelong imprisonment within four walls, forbidding them to leave the house. But their position has no justification in Sharia.

Similar rigid fathers and husbands refer in the decisions on Koranic ayat "Stay in the houses" (33:33). From this ayat they output the proof of forbiddingness for the woman to leave of the house, except case of extreme requirement or need. Actually, this argument isn't convincing.

The matter is that, first, this ayat is turned to women of the Prophet Mohammad (the peace to Him and blessing) as it follows from previous ayat: "Oh, wives of the Prophet …" (33:32).

And women of the Prophet (the peace for Him and blessing), as we know, had more rigid restrictions and bans, than all other women. That also is confirmed previous the ayat: "Oh, wives of the Prophet! You are not, as any other women …" (33:32).

Secondly, the Mother of devout Aisha (and Allah will be happy with Her) even with this ayat left the house and saw the "Camel fight", which flashed between Muslims because of murder of the third Caliph Ousman (and Allah will be happy with Him).

Thirdly, the imprisonment of women in the houses has to be applied only in one case – if she is suspected in adultery and waits for the decision of Islamic court. Allah legalized it in the following words: "Against those from your women who made a vile act (adultery), call in witnesses of four of you. If they confirm, you keep them in houses, while they will lay in rest or while Allah won't establish for them the other way" (4:15). How after that it is possible to claim, that the imprisonment in houses has to be applied to all Moslems?

The woman is a relevant person, as well as the man from whom worship Supreme Allah, establishment of its religion, performance of duties, discharge from a ban, an appeal to Islam, command approved and prohibition blamed is required. The very first certificate of that are Supreme Allah's addresses to the slaves. When He speaks in the Koran "Oh, People" or "Oh, you who believed! ", it isn't the address only to men, but to all people, including women.

For this reason, when one of the greatest ascetic of the Envoy of Allah (peace and blessing to Him) Umm Salam (and Allah will be happy with her) heard the world his call "Oh, people …", she hastened on this call. In spite of the fact that it was occupied with some affairs, she left them, and went to the Prophet (the peace to Him and blessing). And to the people who were surprised with precipitancy of its response to this call, it answered: "I’m from people too".

Basis for definition of a circle of the rights and duties of men and women is that the woman is equal in the capacity and responsibility to the man, behind some exceptions. Concerning a question of a ratio of positions of men and women Supreme told: "One of you occurred from others" (3:195). And Allah's Envoy (to it and blessing) said the world: "Women are the sisters of the men". (Ahmad, at-Tirmizi, Abu Daud, ad-Darimi)

The sacred Koran defines that responsibility for manual of society and its deduction from defects that in language of Islam is called "amr bi-ma'ruf vа Naha ‘ani-munkar" - "command of approved and prohibition of blamed" obliged for both on men, and on women.

Allah speaks: "Believing men and women are assistants and friends to each other. They order to make approved and forbid reprehensible, make a Mohammedan prayer, pay zakah, obey Allah and His Envoy. Allah will take pity on them" (9:71). In the same way the Koran mentioned responsibility for sins and offenses, both men, and women: "Hypocrites and hypocrites are similar each other. They order to make reprehensible, forbid approved …" (9:67)

Besides, Moslem women already left and leave the houses to visit schools, Madras, universities, go for work in various public spheres - doctors, teachers, tutors, etc. This aspect of activity of women outdoors practically is not disproved.

And at last, a debt of Moslems, except religious duties, an appeal in Islam, education of children, fight for establishment in the world of true understanding of Islam is. Our women have to enter fight against the defects which are decomposing not only non-Muslim, but Muslim society – with immorality, illiteracy, inspirituality.

Duty of women of Moslems is to enter fight for souls and younger generation’s hearts not to allow it to get under influence of false belief, ideologies and a way of life, to bring up it in purity and chastity. The huge weight of responsibility for our future lies on brittle female shoulders
